The market for refurbished hardware is growing. That's why more and more resellers buy/sell refurbished hardware. Our refurbished hardware is fully tested and has full functionality. It may have cosmetical signs of usage though.

Refurbished hardware can save you and your customer money, plus it helps your clients standardize their IT park.

Xeptor supplies most models up to 8 years after their End of Life (EoL).

Warranty

Refurb products have a standard 1 year warranty.
Warranty is not extendable.

Partnumber

Refurb has the '-REF' extension to the partnumber.

Packaging

Refurb is packed separately in brown box, or in bulk.

Contents

Refurb hardware comes with only the essential accessories (eg. power supply, battery, etc.). Note that keyboard and mouse are sold seperately for desktops, thin clients and workstations.
Refurbished printers are delivered without toners.

Condition

Refurb may have visible smaller cosmetic (user) marks. This does not influence the functionality in any way. Batteries on laptops are still working.

Operating System (for computers)

All units with CMAR license are pre-installed with Windows 7 or 8 before sent out to the customer. CMAR stands for Certificate of Microsoft Authorized Refurbisher and is a genuine Microsoft license for refurbished hardware attached to the computer.

No units with COA are pre-installed before delivery. COA is only the old OEM license still attached on the computer. Xeptor is not allowed to pre-install machines with COA license only.
A CMAR licence (eg. QLF-00143) is required for a valid Microsoft operating system, which we are happy to install for you.
